With the 2023 Toyota Tundra, you can choose from two V-6 engines. Your first option is a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6 that puts out 358 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque in the base model or 389 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque if you upgrade to the next trim level. An available twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6 hybrid engine generates 437 horsepower and 583 pound-feet of torque. Both engines enable a 12,000-pound maximum towing capacity. You can enjoy more towing power with the Ram 1500, which can tow up to 12,750 pounds when you equip it with a 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 with eTorque. It puts out 410 horsepower and 395 pound-feet of torque and is one of five available engines.
Exterior Design
The first thing you'll notice about the 2023 Ram 1500 is its bold, muscular frame accentuated by a chrome-accented grille, substantial front bumper, and beautifully sculpted hood. Its flowing lines make the Ram 1500 appear to always be in motion, even when standing still. Compared to the Ram 1500, the Tundra's exterior seems flat, boxy, and old-fashioned.
