The Shenandoah Valley Cultural Heritage Museum is open Monday through Saturday between 9:30 am and 5:30 pm, and Sundays from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The permanent exhibits here showcase historical artifacts and everyday items from the region’s first inhabitants, including a display of old glassware-making equipment, military uniforms, and a farm wagon.
3. Shenandoah Museum of Contemporary Art
As one of the most important cultural centers in the Shenandoah Valley, the Shenandoah Museum of Contemporary Art showcases some of the best local and international pieces of contemporary art, and regularly hosts events that draw professional artists from all over the country. Located at 103 S Main Street in the Woodstock city center, this museum is open to the public Friday through Sunday between 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm.
